We are very pleased to announce that we have received a $50,000 grant from The Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums (ATALM) to support the mapping of Dakota traditional knowledge and oral histories by the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate (SWO) of the Lake Traverse Reservation using the app Terrastories.

Today, Digital Democracy launches the Earth Defenders Toolkit, a collaborative space for earth defenders and their allies.
Terrastories will be included in the Earth Defenders’ Toolkit as one of the first of three featured tools, along with Digital Democracy’s Mapeo and Forest Peoples Programme’s Community Lands.
